Rest

Things have calmed down since this morning when I arrived and it's been a peaceful afternoon. Alex is getting some much needed rest and mommy and daddy are feeling better.

Jimmy and I have been going home at night to sleep and it's been so quiet without Alex. We still walk by her oxygen tank and pause, just for a moment, because we usually turn it up at night. Same thing with cathing, we do this every 3-4 hours so after a couple of hours being home we still think we need to cath her. I guess you don't stop being a mommy or daddy just because your baby's not at home.

Thanks for all the sweet comments today.

Much Love,
N&J&babyA

Jimmy, Nicole, and Alex:
You are in our prayers - we just heard about Alex's new challenges today, but know that we are standing with you. Let us know if there are needs we can help with...

Jimmy, Nicole, I know how hard it must be for you to keep everyone in the know about what is happeinng to Alex. Just know that we all love and care about you. God would not put any more on you than you can handle. He is in controll. I am glad to hear that she is doing a little better this afternoon.I love you

Sadie and I are sitting here looking at the pictures and information about "her baby Alex" (as she calls her). I have answered multiple questions about hospital machines and pink bows:), regarding her cousin. Without any prompting she initiated a prayer to Jesus for her cousin. I cry and rub her (Sadies) head while thinking of the pain and suffering you all and "our baby Alex" are experiencing right now. The strength all three of you are showing is inspiring. Please know our hearts and prayers truly are with you all. We love you guys and will do anything we can do for you from Virginia...in addition to our prayers. Just remember sometimes the wait is part of Jesus answer to our prayers. We don't always understand or know why, but he does and that is what we must hold on to...love you guys, Cilla, Jody and Sadie

We're glad to hear your day is a little calmer and Alex is getting rest. Please know there isn't a day that goes by without us thinking of the three of you. We will continue to lift you all up in prayer. Hugs and kisses to all three of you!!

Love,

When you are sitting in your hospital room thinking that you are alone and no one understands remember there are always people thinking of your family and little Alex and saying a prayer for her. I know that always comforted me while I walked into the hospital each day knowing everyone's lives were still going on while ours was stopped sitting in a hospital watching our baby trying to get better. Thinking and praying for your family.

Hi,
I'm jenene's mom i just want you to know that my love and prayers are with you each and everyday. After the twin were born in 1978 I spend more than my share of time in hospitals St. Anthony's and Childrens and the waiting is the hardest and longest. God is with you he's had so many prayers by now. You are never given more than you can handle. I know is seems like to much but it makes you strong.
