Evening you guys....it was delightful to see the happy video of Alex. No matter how many new pleasures come about as they age... nothing replaces the feeling you get from that sweet, innocent, joyful, infant laugh. It was great to experience that feeling again hearing and watching Alex on the video.
Again, tonight Sadie said, "I miss and love baby Alex...I want to see more pictures." While looking at the pictures Jody reminded her that Alex was her cousin. Sadie said, "DADDY...that does NOT mean I don't love her". We both laughed. It was so cute. Not sure what made her think that when he said Alex was her cousin. Anyway, just thought I would share some of lives simplicities with you all since you have so few at the moment. Sorry our/my post are always so long, but it is my way of "chatting" with you all. Please hold her hand for us and tell her we love and pray for her always.
Love, Cilla, Jody and Sadie

What a great laugh and smile! We're all looking forward to many more clips like this soon. I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that Sabrina, Dante and I, like so many others, are thinking of you, pulling for Alex to make a quick recovery, and here for you if you need anything. J&N - keep up the great work.

All my love and support,
Augie

Jimmy,

Thanks for posting your thoughts on my blog. Isn't it great how God uses our little ones to show His glory. There are many times when I wished I was not going through all of this but then I would be missing out on all the blessings God has shown us and how He has grown our faith and family. We have met so many wonderful people through this process as well and we are better people now because of everyone. It is most comforting to talk to other parents who are going through the same journey as we are and who can "truly" relate to how we feel. We try to stay strong for others and put ALL of our trust in God's Will but some days are just harder than others so it is a daily struggle to walk in faith. I took the time to go back and read all of your blogs from the beginning and to get to know more about you, Nicole, and Alex. What a sweet family you have! Please keep in touch with our family--we have also met another SB family and they happen to live in Texas like us and they have become great friends of ours now--their daughter is 3 months old. It has been great to just call them up and ask what's "normal" with their SB baby. Please e-mail anytime:
llwilliams8@grandecom.net. Alex is always in our prayers now and we are thankful we have "met" your family and we can walk this journey together.

Hello Jimmy & Nicole, That precious Baby Alex has some pretty smiles and giggles and she sure is photogenic. I am so sad to hear she is back in the hospital and having these problems. God knows all about it and we will certainly be praying for her and your family. I called Dallas and asked my mom to pray as well. We love you. Nita (Fort Worth,TX)

What a great way to start my day, that laugh is just precious and sweet Alex you are beautiful!!! I look forward to the day I get to meet you!

Nic and Jimmy, I know its been awhile but you have been in my thoughts in prayers since the day I heard of your news. Michele just told me about the blog and I was glad to finally be able to see your beautiful bundle of joy, see her progress and get caught up on everything you have been through. You have done a wonderful job with the blog and I look forward to following your updates.

I have been following and praying for several children with pediatric cancer through Caring Bridge for a couple of years now. It is incredible to see the strength, faith and love that these families possess and to witness all the support and prayers that they get from people following their story and others going through similar situations. It is beautiful to read your posts and to witness your love and faith as well, it will guide you through this journey.

I am praying for quick healing for Alex. If there is anything you need at all please don't hesitate to ask. Mich has my number.

Love,

Amber
