dear Jimmy and Nicole,
I won't bore you with platitudes teliing you things like be strong. But i will tell you never give up on Hope, this is what i would like to call her, or yourselves. No matter what the best doctors tell you. My mother was told that my quality of life was nil. They were proven wrong time and time again. I feel that I have had and still have a good life inspite all the barriers i face. maybe some people see the wheelchair and the vent and say her life can't be worth much but i believe it is and that is what matters in the end.
I have had a good life primary due to the care of a good single mother, your grandmother, yours and my family and my numerous friends. Because of these people in my life I have accomplished a great deal. I graduated from TU, had a great job, traveled and bought a home. Just think how much more Hope can accomplished with todays medical and assistive technogy and two loving parents.
Give Hope a kiss from her great aunt Genell.
If you guys need to talk to someone that has walked that rocky road please let me know.
love and prays aunt genell
