Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers. They seem to be working so far, as we just found out that she made pee-pee this morning all by herself. This may not seem like much, but SB kids nearly always have problems controlling bladder functions, so this little event was a big glimmer of Hope for us. Of course, there are still so many unknowns - we're leaning on faith, and will be for some time. Especially as her 1st surgery approaches.So we're in high spirits, and it's so great and encouraging to read your comments (thank you George). Keep the posts coming, and we'll keep you updated. Meanwhile, here are a few more pics & a video from this morning. (You may notice the little skin-tag on her cheek - not to worry, it will come off soon :)

Hey guys - know we are praying for the surgery today. We paise God for this precious new life and for the hopeful news items that have come. Alex is a preciou child of God as well as your child - and He has His strong hand upon her.
