Mother's Day

Today's been an okay day so far. Great grandma came to stay w/Alex while we did the Spina Bifida Run (walk) this morning. The weather was gloomy, but the rain mostly held off for us.

For Mothers Day, Alex painted a nice card for Nic. I came to the hospital after the race, while Nic went home to get some rest & get caught up around the house.

We're still not sure when we'll get to bring her home. Every time we think it's close, "something" comes up & the date is pushed back further. So we'll just keep hangin' out, & post more when we know it.

To all you mothers out there following the blog, happy Mother's Day.
