is slowly getting better and we are hoping to go home later this week. It's hard to say exactly when we'll get discharged but things are looking up. We can tell Alex is feeling better by her big smiles and she sounds a lot better too. She's been talking to everyone who walks in the room and loving the attention. We watched Cinderella this afternoon and every time Cinderella sang, Alex thought she should sing too. She loves music and it was the cutest thing to watch her "sing along". I'm sure she already wants to be a princess like her little cousins :)Not a bad Monday. We are just hanging out and enjoying the sunshine (as much as we can from inside). Urology ordered a kidney ultrasound today and Alex was so excited to be out of her room and walking around with mommy to and from the radiology department. She talked to the technician the whole visit and the ultrasound transducer (we can just call it a wand since Alex is a princess) tickled her big belly.

Nicole you are too cute! I think Warrior Princess fits her perfect! You just have to love this child. She has shown a royal share of grit and perserverance which would have felled anyone else (as have her parents), and then she tops all of that with a song in her heart. I was showing Uncle James Alex's pic and he saw her gown has space ships on it so said she is "A Warrior Princess from the Galaxy"
